ELECTRONIC EXAM REGISTRATION

Please register for your course-related performance assessments using StudIS, the electronic student information system. The registration periods are the same for all departments in the Faculty of Humanities:

Winter semester: 1 December to 15 January
Summer semester: 1 May to 15 June

This deadline also applies to (compact) courses starting after the StudIS registration period!

We strongly recommend that you do not leave registering until the final day of the registration period but register at least two or three days ahead of the deadline. This gives us time to react if a problem arises.

You cannot register for performance assessments after the deadline has passed. Neither will you be able to withdraw from exams. If you do not complete the required seminar assessment, fail to sit the exam or do not submit your term paper as required, you will receive a failing grade.

Note on term papers:

BA and MA students:
If, in addition to earning credits for a seminar, you also want to earn credits for a term paper in your course, you must register both for the course and for the term paper.

Teacher education:
Teacher education students who want to earn credits for a term paper in their seminar need only register for the term paper. Unlike bachelor's students, they cannot earn credits for two performance assessments (seminar and term paper) in one seminar. Please decide on either seminar credits or credits for a term paper when registering.

We do not accept late registrations!
