Structure and Interpretation
On the basis of a general theory of form and meaning of linguistic expressions, I argue that, sometimes the meaning of complex expressions depends not only on the meaning, but also on the structure of their parts.
I will collaborate with members of the group in the areas of philosophy of logic and mathematics, in particular on Kit Fine and the philosophy of variables, on mereology, and arbitrary objects.
